Nikas Got SoulProject Type: Brand Identity | WebsiteAugust, 2023 | South Korea
Nikas Got Soul is a childrenswear brand inspired by the imaginative mind of its namesake, Nikas. The brand looks up to the mind of a child as an inexhaustible well of joy and humble confidence, a spirit that guides the mind to take it slow and appreciate the simple joy in life that is often overlooked in this fast-paced world. This attitude shapes Nikas Got Soul’s direction to making timeless pieces of resortwear products, embracing a slow fashion approach by empowering local artisans and implementing sustainable practices.
Nikas Got Soul products remind people of the bright sun and the beach sand stuck on the sole of our feet—or of the gentle breeze on one fine afternoon and the fresh iced lemonade amidst doodling sesh and play catch. The beauty of the innocence portrayed through the products offers its own adventure in seeing the world anew. Nikas Got Soul loves to take its time in developing well-crafted pieces, closely working together with local artisans who are also passionate about the craft, while also empowering them to keep on going in bringing beauty to the world.
The brand aims to cement itself as the antidote to fast fashion, a scheme deemed detrimental, not only to the environment but also to the soul of the wearer. Nikas Got Soul wishes for its customers to cherish and keep their products for a long time, providing them with heartfelt companionship through the many moments and adventures in life.

Sawdust | Curated LifestyleProject Type: Brand Identity | Brand DirectionJuly 20th, 2023 | Jakarta, Indonesia

Sawdust is an Indonesian-based furniture house that focuses on curating furniture designed by international designers with a strong sense of craftsmanship, combined with high-quality materials, and driven by the contemporary urban lifestyle. With an array of carefully curated products marketed globally in over 70 countries, we aim to provide cost-effective options for people with an eclectic taste for well-designed furniture.
Our founders are driven by a shared fascination for the craftsmanship of furniture design. We have observed that as time goes by, more people are drawn to the spirit of craftsmanship. In recent years, people have become more informed, and they have access to references that allow them to develop their taste and sensibility in seeing how good design can elevate a space.
Despite the increasing demand for high-quality furniture, we recognize that high artistry and craftsmanship in the furniture industry are not always accessible to everyone. At Sawdust, we are determined to change that. We want to make good craftsmanship accessible to the masses, enabling people to get their hands on furniture products that are not only utilitarian but also aligned with their taste, adding more meaning to the space they occupy.

Over the Wall | Printmaking ExhibitionProject Type: Identity | Poster ProductionNovember 1st, 2022 | Galeri Ruang Dini, Bandung, Indonesia
Over the Wall: Printmaking Exhibition puts printmaking in the spotlight, showcasing the charm that layers of technique bring to the texture of papers. Although often considered a niche medium, printed arts often evoke an exceptional and intimate emotion in those looking.
Over the Wall exhibits Black Hand Gang’s resident artists: Agus Suwage, Degeha, Eddie Hara, Kemalezedine, Mella Jaarsma, Sir Dandy, and Social Note: Black Hand Gang x Uji Hahan x Uma Gumma. It explores walls where artworks are usually displayed, understanding that art, in any size or medium, has an immense ability to dominate a space. As artists from different disciplinary backgrounds collaborate, Over the Wall also climbs over the boundaries of printmaking as the walls between techniques and conventions are blurred.

”Imagine an eye unruled by man-made laws of perspective, an eye unprejudiced by compositional logic, an eye which must knoweach object encountered in life through a new adventure of perception. Imagine a world alive with incomprehensible objects and shimmering with an endless variety of movement and gradations of color. Imagine a world before the beginning was the word.'  - Stan Brakhage
